Riding the new Test Track before it opens: My 60 second review! 🚘

🚘 I got to ride the new Test Track at EPCOT before it officially opens on July 22. Here’s my 60-second take: Disney invited me to join a media preview of the reimagined Test Track. And the first thing I noticed was what’s gone: the design your own car game and the Tron-inspired visuals. I know many people will miss the pre-ride car design game - me included. But instead of being an attraction that takes you behind the scenes of car design, the new Test Track is a ride that celebrates technology and motion, both today and tomorrow. It has visually dynamic scenes with better projections and physical scenery, a fantastic new musical score that adds energy and fun, and a jaw-dropping finale with a massive domed projection of a city of tomorrow Plus, there are some sneaky nods to past versions of the ride that EPCOT fans will love. The track and ride system are the same, but Imagineering leveled up the story, visuals, and overall charm. It feels like a classic, old-school EPCOT attraction with the same thrilling finale.
