Brown your meat of choice in some olive oil (I used ground beef) and set it to the side 2. Add a bit more olive oil and add 3 cloves of garlic minced, 1/2 yellow onion (chopped small), 1 celery stalk (chopped small), 1 medium carrot (chopped small), and stir fry on medium heat until it’s soft and most of the water is gone. The smaller you chop the quicker it will cook. 3. Add the beef back into the pan. Add 1/2 pack of spaghetti, 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 1 tube of tomato paste, big handful of cherry tomatoes (halved), handful of fresh basil (chopped), and pour about 750 ml of beef broth or beef stock on it, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, a pinch of salt and sugar, then let it cooked covered with the lid partially off to concentrate the flavour. Cook until the pasta is done and the sauce is thick stirring often so the noodles don’t stick to the bottom. If there isn’t enough liquid, you can add more beef broth.
