How to Install (Hardwire) Dual Dash Cam in WRX: Rexing V1P 3rd Gen

I install the Rexing V1P 3rd Gen dual dash cam in my 2017 WRX. I offer you placement considerations 0:22 and show you where I placed mine and why. I go over how I routed both of the camera cables (the power cable going to the fuse box and the USB cable for rear camera) 4:14 . I go over how to select the fuse spot to use and how to test its voltage 8:31 . Some things to consider are whether the camera will require constant power (even when the car is off) for parking operations or a switched fuse so that the camera shuts off when the car is turned off so that the battery is not drained. For this install I used the cheap hardwiring kit which doesn't have voltage protection which is good enough right now for my needs. In the future I will replace that with a voltage protection model so that the camera can stay on when I am parked. This is important so that the battery doesn't drain.
