Part of those dreams included reserving as much budget as possible for the build and comfort, spending the necessary time to find the rare deal that some folks find just being lucky, and I think we accomplished exactly that. It had a few headaches that were as easy to fix as an aspirin with water. The van has one strange area of rust to treat and watch, but the usual locations for rust are remarkably clean. Then there was a problem we didn't see until it was too late! Knowing what to do about it made this just a small problem and revealed why we got the "good deal". The seller didn't know how to handle this stalling problem so he couldn't use van and didn't feel it was necessary to tell a potential buyer about the problem. "Buyer Beware" is the law*, but what happened to honesty with your neighbors and treating people the way you want to be treated? I've helped sell imperfect vans and even a truly terrible van, but I was upfront about all the problems they had and even shared a video "What not to do when building a camper van" insisting the buyer watch that video before I continued to help arrange the sale/purchase.
