Its motto has been "The orchestra that sets the rhythm in Venezuela," and it is also considered very versatile abroad, with twenty soloists on stage: four saxophones, three trombones, three trumpets, five rhythm guitarists, and four singers (always with a female lead singer), but also for its extensive repertoire. It enjoyed significant popularity in the 1980s, garnering international acclaim through the performances of various singers. In the following years, "Los Melódicos" continued their string of successes, highlighting their female voices. They have won the most significant awards both within Venezuela and abroad, remaining one of the most beloved and popular orchestras of all time.
