This device has some nice features, a very interesting display and resembles the crafty quite a bit. Let's go through the features and functions. Design. The CFX is quite large. It's a little too big for us but with its size, it comes with a beautiful LED, full-color display. The user interface is easy to use and is very functional. The size of the device is more of a home unit as you wouldn't want to bring something so big with a bright screen out in public. We give the CFX an 8 out of 10 for its design. Battery Life. The CFX has good battery life. It lasts over an hour and a half of typical use. There is two ways to charge this device - with its power adapter and via USB. This is a nice feature to have but it does make for a larger device. We give the battery life an 8 out of 10. Flavor. The flavor out of the CFX is decent. You get solid vapor production, the mouthpiece is made of plastic but it still produces average flavor given the materials used. It isn't bad flavor but there are definitely other models out there that produce better taste. The CFX gets a 7 out of 10 for its vapor. Control. The CFX has a temperature range of a 100 to 430 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a good choice for those looking for control at home. There is a timer for your sessions, as well as a bowl on and off which comes in handy when in between sessions. We give it a 9 out of 10 for its control. Value. You can get a CFX Boundless vaporizer for $170, which seems fair given the features that it offers. Though it resembles the design and functions of the Crafty, it isn't as nice. The quality of this vaporizer definitely reflects its more affordable price point. When we factored in the features for the price point, we gave the CFX a 7 out of 10. Overall Rating. When we tallied up all attribute ratings, we gave the CFX by Boundless a 7.8 out of 10. The CFX is a good choice for users that would want a home vaporizer with precision temperature control as an affordable price point.
