Info/Registration: https://tiny.ucsf.edu/pcsm23 Please note: The Dec. 2, 2023 in-person course will be at Byers Auditorium at Genentech Hall, 600 16th St, San Francisco, CA 94158 Welcome to the 18th Annual UCSF Sports Medicine for Primary Care Provider Conference! Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive sports medicine experience, covering a wide range of clinically relevant, evidence-based, and up-to-date knowledge and skills from head to toe. Here's a breakdown of the event: Day 1: The entire day will be live-streamed, featuring our highly acclaimed UCSF Sports Medicine teaching faculty and esteemed guest speakers. All presentations will be recorded and available for viewing for 30 days post-conference. Day 2: This day will be exclusively in-person at the UCSF Mission Bay conference center, and there won't be a live stream option. This unique opportunity will allow you to: Observe our UCSF Sports Medicine faculty perform thorough physical exams of major joints. Participate in small-group workshops to practice physical exams and injection skills under the guidance of our expert instructors. We will also have several workshops led by Sports Medicine specialists, covering hot topics such as orthobiologics, supplement usage, concussion care, and joint replacement. To make the most of your Day 2 experience, please review the schedule carefully, as we kindly request all attendees to sign up for small-group workshops during the registration process. This will help us maintain a high faculty-to-learner ratio in each workshop. For those looking for a more relaxed and informative experience, our large auditorium sessions require no advanced registration. Feel free to drop in, watch, and engage with our faculty. You'll notice that each activity begins 20 minutes after the hour and lasts for one hour. During the registration process, you can select which session you'd like to attend within each one-hour time block. You are not required to choose a small-group session for each one-hour slot; some blocks may be better suited for watching expert demonstrations of physical exams in the auditorium, which do not require advance registration. We look forward to sharing this exciting sports medicine experience with you and enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. See you at the conference!
