For nearly 20 years Yukes were the development team behind some of the most successful WWE Games of all time, starting with WWF Smackdown in 1999 and ending their run with the release of WWE 2K19 in 2018. In this video we go behind the scenes at Yukes' office in Japan to see the lengths they went to in order to make their WWE games series the success it was and the dedication they put in to it, with developers sleeping under desks to make deadlines, performing preliminary mocap on mocap dolls and even holding meetings inside a steel cage! ☆☆☆ Yukes Partnership with WWE & AEW Games ☆☆☆ Yukes partnership with WWE and 2K Sports ended in 2019 following the release of WWE 2K19, with Visual Concepts then taking over the series for WWE 2K20 and the upcoming WWE 2K22.
