Road Trip: 2024 Porsche Taycan & Cross Turismo in Malaysia - Still As Good As We Remember?

Back in 2020, Jim took the then-new-to-Malaysia Porsche Taycan 4S for a spin as not just one of his first videos ‘reviews’, but also the first EV and first Porsche he’d taken for test. It was an impressive car despite the lack of Porsche’s trademark flat-6, and set a high benchmark. It also consequently made a lot of other EVs driven since to feel disconnected and disappointing by comparison. Years later the Taycan has gotten a facelift, but you’d be hard-pressed to notice at first glance. The visual changes are minimal, and it’s arguable if the technical ones are appreciable in real world driving.
