It’s a “trunk show for inspiration” Monday Marketplace at Country Needleworks. This week, we are showing you some great projects made from Universal Deluxe Worsted Tweed Superwash. This yarn is 90% superwash wool, 7% acrylic and 3% viscose with 218 yards per skein. The rose and gold sweater called Graduate is a great beginner project. It is a top down raglan, with many size options, that makes the tweeds pop in your stockinette knitting! Next, we have a couple of scarves showcasing different textures. The Erie scarf is worked length wise with a variation of knits and purls to create a unique texture. A combination of knits and slip stitches make the Kenzy scarf look like it has been woven…very creative. Even colorwork accents this yarn. We Three Hats has three patterns for one price that each have a different form of colorwork making for a cozy warm hat. Another color work model was the Templetop Revisited hat and cowl combination with the cowl being extra tall for more coverage. Pam is wearing the Glacier Bay Poncho. This poncho has a cowl neckline, loads of textured knitting and sleeves to keep it in place while giving lots of room for movement.
