Hurricane Matthew did not only damage railroad facilities located at the Southeastern Seaboard. Flooding of rivers land-inward caused wash-outs and entire lines had to be closed, trains rerouted. Therefore, the CSX Abbeville Sub also saw trains that normally would not come through here such as traffic to and from Florida. The video features 12 trains, several of which were rerouted: Autoracks Q211-10, intermodals L034-11, R037-11, R031-10, Q194-12, and the mixed Tropicana/intermodal Q141-07, manifests Q614-11, X803-10, and Q616-12, ethanol empties K448-10, and coal trains U770-10 and T771-04. These trains have a lot of interesting units, but find out by yourself! Intermodal L034-11 was led by the Seaboard System Emblem Unit # 5461 - CSX's way of recognizing its heritage.
