At Manteca Unified, all students are students first— this means that despite the needs and services a student receives, they have a spot in the general education classroom. Inclusion in the classroom is more than a catchphrase; it means every student has the opportunity to grow, regardless of additional support needs or disability. MUSD is working hard to make this the standard educational experience for all students on our campuses. Through the Collaborative Teaching Model, our General and Special Education experts are coming together to deliver the same rigor and support to all students in one classroom, without labels.
