Qantas 747-400ER QF8 - Brisbane to Sydney [VH-OEE]

Here is the big one! My flight aboard QF8 from Brisbane to Sydney! This was one of the best flights I have been on - it was very smooth, the crew were friendly, the seats were comfortable and the cabin was spacious. This flight was on VH-OEE, a 12 year old Boeing 747-400ER. As you can see from the video, nearly everything was closed at the Brisbane International Terminal until about 5am. Boarding was scheduled to start at 5:55am, but was actually at around 6:10am, the flight then Departed at 6:50am instead of 6:35am. The takeoff was very powerful, yet extremely smooth as well - not a bump or a single jerk - it was a calm morning in Brisbane. After just over an hour, we arrived into a cold and wet Sydney a few minutes ahead of schedule at 8:08am as we had tailwinds. The IFE was pretty good, if not laggy at some points, mostly due to the touchscreen not responding properly to touch. They had several movies that had not been released on disc yet (at the time), such as Captain America 2, which I tried to watch on the flight but there wasn't enough time. There was also several TV shows and games available. The Aircraft is one of the 747s which has been reconfigured with their own A380 style seats (which includes a new IFE system) and new overhead compartments which look like the ones on Boeing 777s, although without the mood lighting. Breakfast was served quickly - and it was a rather small serving - but this was understandable because the flight was only 65 minutes long. It consisted of a cold but tasty apple danish, orange juice and yogurt. Since I had some food at the Qantas Club earlier, I wasn't fussed about how small the meal was. The flight ended much too quickly for my liking - I wanted to keep flying on this magnificent aircraft! We disembarked into Sydney International Airport, where everyone had to go through at least one duty-free store to get to baggage re-claim. This flight has unfortunately ended, as QF7/8 has been replaced with the A380, which has more range than the 747-400ER, so it can bypass Brisbane and go straight to Sydney. Since this flight left and arrived from international terminals and I was only on the domestic sector, I got a sticker on my boarding pass to show that I was on a domestic flight so I could skip customs and immigration.
