So this is my first thoughts on @TheNorthFace Enduris 4. A shoe reviewed as a super trainer to the Vectiv Pro 3. I was eyeballing it as my choice for Bootlegger 100 miler. Out of the box step in feel was amazing. The stack height was noticed immediately (41mm at the heel). I thought that would be a problem but I didn’t notice it in my run. What I did notice, was softness, bounce, traction, and flexibility. The outsole is an in house rubber with 4mm lugs. What I found was the traction was great from the lug pattern, but I’d question the durability, and it’s abilities in mud. There is a nylon winged plate in the shoe that helps balance stability with the softness of the midsole. This combination also gives a bit of a bounce to the shoe, that I personally have never felt before. The upper seems to be a nice durable, yet breathable material, that manages to maintain some softness. This is mainly due to a thin soft material on the inside of that upper. This will be for sure my Bootlegger shoe, because of it softness and bounce. The stack height and durability are still highly questionable to me, but as I want to experience more as a runner new shoes and brands need to be tried. The North Face has a winner here! @SUMMITRUNCO @HYPERLYTELiquidPerformance @UltrAspireHydration
