London Underground-38 Tube Stock railtour 1986

A film of the first of two 'Farewell' railtours for the 38 Tube Stock held in 1986. The tours were a bit premature as 5/6 sets were re-instated on the Northern Line, i think in 1987, due to service increases. They then lasted unitil 83 MkII stock was introduced onto the Jubilee to start a cascade that ended up with 59s from the Bakerloo sent to the Northern to finally replace them. Various locations are seen here including the engineers connection at Ealing Broadway between the District and the Central which has since been removed. There's odd shots of D, 59 & 83 stock.
