In this video (Part 2 of a 5-part series), we go over the ultimate British victory over Tipu Sultan in the 4th Anglo-Mysore War, as well as the subsequent suppression of Dhondia Wagh's rebellion (the first independent campaign of Arthur Wellesley, the future Duke of Wellington). In the process, we begin to consider the reasons behind the defeat of the indigenous Indian militaries, as well as why the British were able to control their vast and populous territories.
