https://www.Libertos.io Over 30 people came from 14 different countries to build an aircrete dome home for a local school in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The first pic seen in the video is from "Steve's Dome Home" that was built in Thailand several years ago. • My Thailand Dome Home - Full Tour The cost to complete it was less then $10,000! Even though we came to this workshop from different age brackets, backgrounds, etc... we really connected as a community who shared similar values and it was an amazing experience knowing you can build a home like this without needing a construction background or skill set. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT IS AIR-CRETE? Air-Crete is a lightweight non-toxic masonry material that is easy and inexpensive to make yourself with the "Little Dragon". It offers good thermal and acoustic insulation. It will not rot, warp, or corrode. Unlike concrete which is hard, heavy, cold and difficult to work with, Aircrete is easy to work with, it dries overnight and can be cut, carved, drilled and shaped with wood-working tools. It accepts nails or screws and is easily repaired. It has good compression strength to make excellent foundations, sub-floors, building blocks, poured walls, domes or whatever. It can be molded or formed into practically any shape. AirCrete can cut cost of conventional methods of construction by a factor of 10 for several reasons. An air-crete dome home is low cost, fireproof, waterproof, pest proof, safer in disaster zones from earth quakes, tornadoes, etc. A dome home is also easy to build with reduced environmental impact than traditionally built houses.
