Pend and wash demonstration stage two: watercolour washes.

As promised, here’s the next stage in this demonstration...very quick, loose washes applied to the drawing I did in part one. The watercolours I used in this are all Daniel Smith- fabulous, richly pigmented colours that are a joy to work with. Some might say that the drawing looks finished, but as I always say, some of the finer ink lines have been lost a little under the washes, so the third part of this demonstration will be the final detailing....adding more line work to help the separation between the various parts of the drawing, together with( perhaps) a spot more colour. https://drawninyorkshire.com   / johnharrison
