Voice Coach Dr. ME. Azaad discussing essential tips for protecting and training your voice. These guidelines are particularly beneficial for individuals aspiring to become singers, anchors, or news presenters in the film industry and beyond. Dr. Azaad outlines a comprehensive daily regimen and lifestyle adjustments to maintain an excellent voice: • Morning Routine: ◦ Wake up before sunrise, ideally at 5:30 AM (Brahmi Muhurtham). ◦ Drink water kept overnight in a copper glass on an empty stomach. ◦ Perform oil pulling with two spoons of sesame oil for 10-15 minutes, spitting it out when it turns white, and then rinsing with two glasses of filtered water. ◦ Brush teeth twice a week using natural twigs like neem, Pongamia, banyan, or Jujube, and use Ayurvedic toothpaste. ◦ Gargle with lukewarm water mixed with a pinch of salt and turmeric. ◦ Drink ginger tea. • Voice Exercises: ◦ Chant Omkara in slow (mandara), medium (madhyama), and high (teevra) pitches for five minutes while sitting in Vajrasana. ◦ Practice an "auto sound" exercise for five minutes, starting with an auto sound, adding "Akaaram" (the 'A' sound), transforming it into a siren sound, and ending with the auto sound, also while in Vajrasana. ◦ Engage in Simhagajana (Lion's Roar) for a metallic voice, Kapalbha, Bhastrika, and Anuloma Viloma. ◦ Perform Surya Namaskaram (Sun Salutations) in the sunlight to get Vitamin D. • Dietary and Lifestyle Restrictions: ◦ Strictly avoid ice cream, sweets, fridge water, biryani, meat (mutton, chicken), cakes, and baked foods. ◦ Seafood is permitted. ◦ Refrain from consuming liquor and cigarettes. • Enhancing Pronunciation and Memory: ◦ Regularly recite Sanskrit shlokas. Muslims should read the Quran, Christians the Bible, and Sikhs/Punjabis the Gurbani. This practice helps with tongue flexibility. ◦ Practice various tongue twisters and foreign names (e.g., Japanese, Chinese names) to improve articulation and prevent the tongue from getting twisted. ◦ Perform specific facial exercises to enhance flexibility and memory, including: ▪ Stretching the tongue out firmly and holding for a count of ten. ▪ Touching the nose with the tongue ten times. ▪ Moving the tongue over the teeth in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. Dr. Azaad emphasizes that maintaining dental health is crucial for voice professionals, highlighting the importance of practices like oil pulling and using natural dental care methods. By consistently following these practices, individuals can gain control over their voice and become complete artists, benefiting anyone in professions requiring strong vocal presence, from singers to politicians. #SocialPostVishnu #voicecare #DrMeAzaad #SingersTips #AnchorTraining #vocalhealth #AyurvedaForVoice #NewsPresenterTips #TeluguVoiceTraining #breathingexercises #DailyRoutineForSingers How to Protect & Train Your Voice | Daily Voice Care Tips for Singers | Dr. ME.
