If you are interested in tracking calories, micro and macro nutrients, and/or fat, carb and protein percentages, I recommend two basic tools: a digital kitchen scale that measures at least down to the 10th of a gram and a simple FREE application called cronometer. I have both linked down below. These two basic tools have become fundamental for me in my OMAD journey and I think for anyone who is interested in fasting, caloric restriction, or temporal restriction could really benefit. I used to attempt to track my calories without a scale. Have you? Are you currently? I have been continually shocked at how off my previous tracking has been. After you get your scale I would HIGHLY recommend the application cronometer which you can download to your phone or use right on their website.
