This park used to be filled with joy and laughter, that is until 2005 when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. The park originally opened in 2000 under the name of jazzland and was bought by the six flags company. The park closed in August 2005 just before the storm hit and was supposed to reopen after the storm but After the hurricane it was completely flooded and the majority of the rides in the park were destroyed beyond repair. So now it sits abandoned and in severe decay with the coasters still standing tall and rides still waiting on the next rider that will never come! This video has photos and videos of the rides and park!
