If you work with data in AWS, you've probably spent more time than you'd like clicking through the S3 console, navigating to Athena, and copying query results. This video shows you how to skip all that by letting Claude Code handle the heavy lifting for you using the AWS CLI. I've been working with data for over 9 years, and my current team has multiple reporting jobs that produce CSV files saved to AWS. Setting up Athena tables and navigating S3 used to mean context switching between interfaces. Now I describe what I want in plain English, Claude figures out the S3 paths and writes the Athena queries, and my job becomes quality control instead of query writing. This method is perfect for data engineers, data analysts, bi analysts, and more, working in this cloud data environment.
