Today’s video covers a really important part of having a home pottery studio: the clay trap. If you already have a wheel at home, you may have run into the issue of what to do with all the clay slop after you throw. You can’t throw it all down the drain or risk clogging up the pipes. Plus, clay is recyclable, so it's best to be able to keep it. So, the next best option is to have some way to dispose of the water you use while collecting the clay for later use. If you live in an apartment like I do, you can’t really modify your plumbing, and you also have to deal with limited space. This build from the Clay Warehouse is super simple and relatively cheap.
