Final push for main earthworks on O Mahurangi-Penlink - January 2026

Here's the latest update from O Mahurangi-Penlink; a Road of Regional Significance connecting SH1 near Redvale to Whangaparāoa, north of Auckland. Our earthworks team, who cut, fill, and build the retaining structures that shape the new highway, are making excellent progress. As of January 2026, more than 1,000,000 cubic metres of soil has already been moved to form the new highway.
