The house on Drift Island is less of a desirable residence in Stalker than it is on Voyageur difficulty. It's much colder, for starters. The wolves are more aggressive and prevalent. The cold is the worst problem, however. It will make bear hunting much more difficult as the trip across the ice to a suitable location is sufficiently lengthy for hypothermia to become a real problem. However progress has been made. An improved bow has been discovered, much to my surprise. Furniture is under construction. Food is still plentiful due to easy access to fishing.
