#belgianmalinois #dogs #dogmata On September 13th, a Belgian Malinois was found in the ditch outside of our veterinarian's clinic with both of his legs and pelvis broken. Luckily, Dr. Carla Hubbard is very well experienced in orthopedic surgeries and she was able to repair his severe fractures and save his legs. After nearly two months of recovery time at the clinic, one of the vet techs grew attached and attempted to keep him. Fortunately for us, he behaved like any Malinois would behave as a pet for two weeks after two months of limited activity. After acknowledging a herding breed with the character of a working breed is not an ideal pet, our home was the next in line. On December 2nd, we picked up the Malinois and brought him home.
