There's no question that Ben Böhmer is one of the blossoming stars of the German electronic scene. His songs are much more than schematic melodic house tracks. His deep melodies, his gift for endowing sensitive groove constructs with a delicate soul, create an endless drift. Detailed little melodies sprout out of the playful beat structures, piano parts fade in and over all of this flow sheer endless surfaces that flood the dance floor with a cinematographic dream flow. Ben Böhmer's live performances are just as unique, as the artist has a multitude of live intervention options on stage thanks to his stage piano, Faderfox and Ableton Push controllers, allowing him to fall into sync with the fans. His central mothership for his performance is a table design by James Schüller. Show and lighting designer Ben Dietrich and the TOO BRIGHT FOR THE CLUB collective have developed an impressively coherent and scalable stage and lighting design for the talented Berlin musician, which forms a perfect symbiosis with his sound worlds. The show is also of a high standard in terms of video worlds. The dreamy and abstract content were created by the experienced CLUBKIND collective. Laserfabrik (with laser techs: Marvin Kasper, Max Ernst) provided the laser programming for the “Bloom” tour, while the TDA Clair team was responsible for the tech support of lighting and video equipment.
