When Martin Jarry learned he had a rare muscle disease called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), he decided to do something about it. He used a robotic device called an exoskeleton to help him run a 10K race, generating publicity for his little-known disease. Martin has been a source of inspiration and hope to others with IBM. In this video, he gives advice and encouragement to other patients who are interested in advocating for their rare disease, both to increase awareness and to fundraise for myositis organizations.
