About the Session In an era of rapid educational change, a teacher’s greatest asset is no longer just their subject knowledge, but their ability to evolve. This session invites educators to view lesson planning not as a clerical chore, but as a primary vehicle for professional self-development. In this session, we will explore how high-impact planning reduces teacher burnout while sharpening instructional clarity. Participants will learn to adopt 21st-century educational practices that move beyond teacher-centred rote memorisation to student-centred active learning. Key Takeaways • The Planning Mindset: How to transition from being a classroom "instructor" to a learning "designer" and "facilitator". • The SMART Framework: Techniques for setting personal professional goals that mirror student objectives. • The Power of the Feedback Loop: Practical ways to utilise student misconceptions and real-time feedback to refine your own teaching practice. Learning Outcomes By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to: • Draft a SMART-aligned lesson plan that incorporates clear success criteria. • Apply the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) framework to empower students and reduce teacher fatigue. • Adopt low-tech, high-impact engagement strategies that rebuild teacher confidence in any classroom environment. • Implement a structured "Teacher Reflection" routine to identify personal areas for growth after every session.
