On this visit to Detroit, we hopped on board a pedal pub operated by The HandleBar Detroit. @handlebardetroit #handlebardetroit There are a few different companies operating pedal pubs downtown, and this is the second company we rode with. Comparatively, the concept is the same - the pedal pub bikes are a little different in design, and they start in different locations but have similar routes. They have space, so each can bring a small cooler of your favorite beverages (no glass allowed), climb onboard and away you go! We did have a lot of fun. This is a great activity for a group of friends to gather for any occasion or no occasion at all! Don't worry, the pedal pub makes frequent stops, so you'll always have a bathroom break opportunity just around the next corner. I am glad they brought this activity to Detroit... its something different and fun for all adults - any age. Here's a secret, not all spots on the pedal pub have pedals... so, if you just want to ride, socialize and see the sights, you can do that too!
