Oct 14, 2001 - Shanghai, China - A magnificent 18-minute pyrotechnic spectacular was staged from 37 different firing locations, which included more than 8,000 lines of digital computer firing code. Each location was simultaneously fired utilizing Fireworks by Grucci’s expertly trained pyrotechnicians and the State-of-the-Art in computer firing systems. The pyrotechnics were displayed from: 10 World Class barge platforms, 23 Rooftop locations in the Bund district, over 1 mile of pyro displayed along the Huangpu River including a floating pyrotechnic Red Carpet, and Grucci Grand Illuminations from three levels of the 1,500’ high Oriental Pearl Television Tower.
