New Boss: Lair Guardians! - These hulking masses of abandoned copper and iron are set to crush any and all intruders who dare try and take their precious cargo. But don't be fooled by their size, Lair Guardians also come equipped with all kinds of dangerous gadgetry to put a stop to your crew. Branching Paths! - Take careful notice of your Radar, because on your travels you may notice that occasionally you'll come across branching paths that will determine what kind of Expedition you come across. Will you explore a Cave for resources and treasure? Or will you enter a Lair and fight for a new Upgrade? Choose wisely, for once you pick a path, quick-moving water currents will ensure you won't be able to return. Ruby Chests! - With Lairs holding the key to ship Upgrades, Caves just got a lot more wealthy! These huge golden treasure troves are stashed away at the end of caves, holding within them a large stash of valuable Rubies, ensuring your future cave expeditions will be lucrative ones.
