M.S. in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) Information Session with Dr. Megan Mueller M.S. in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) is an intensive, 12-to-16-month graduate degree program that focuses on human-animal relationships and their implications for policy and community action. While students enter the program with different interests, skills, philosophies, and aspirations, all share a passion for understanding human-animal relationships and promoting the status of animals in society. Dr. Megan Mueller is a developmental scientist who studies the complex and dynamic relationships between people and animals. She received a B.A. in psychology and child development and M.A. and Ph.D. in child study and human development from Tufts University. Dr. Mueller leads the Pets and Well-Being Lab. Her research and teaching focus on understanding human-animal interaction across the lifespan using multiple methods. She is a Senior Fellow at Tisch College, and she teaches in the M.S. in Animals and Public Policy program at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
