UPDATE: I've gotten a lot of questions about the elemental spread, particularly regarding the order of the cards. I deliberately left this open because everyone associates the elements with the directions differently according to tradition, location, etc. So, I would encourage you to do what works for you - there is no right or wrong, just decide before you pull the cards. Personally, I use Earth for the right-hand card, or with the Westerly direction, and Air, Fire, Water respectively going anti-clockwise from there. Whether you're new and just learning tarot or you've been around the block but want to get back to basics, here are a bunch of 1 - 4 card spreads for you to try!
