These were ranked based on my opinion, comments I'd read, and then I adjusted my top 50 with voting polls, but to start I left out at least 1 entry from every episode, this helped me shortlist them but also means each episode will still have something new if this is your first time seeing the series. I also tried to limit each franchise to 1 character from that franchise, meaning some weren't included because a character from the same series was already (except for Star Wars). I also tried to keep this varied, so some were ranked up or down slightly just to mix it up, so I think some score about the same despite being ranked a couple up or down, though I was a lot more accurate when ranking in the top 10. This is based very slightly on franchise's popularity, but mostly based on the idea and uniqueness of the entry itself over the franchise's popularity.
