In this video we tour and shop the cactus and succulents at Whitfill Nursery in the South Phoenix location. This footage was recorded in mid-May when the temperatures were still tolerable on both me and my camera. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the selection of desert plants available at this location. And it felt like we had the whole nursery to ourselves. Whitfill Nursery Information: Address for this location: 2647 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85040 Website: http://www.whitfillnursery.com Google info: https://share.google/8xJhbSjWaq4eGkAah Information on all nurseries featured on my channel: https://www.cookiescacti.com/nurseries Connect with me on Instagram: / cookiescacti My website: https://www.cookiescacti.com ******************* ******************* Before summer arrived in Arizona and before Cookie entered her final decline, I had a ravenous desire to record and complete as many videos as possible. I think I had more than a month's worth of videos scheduled to be published which allowed for videos to continue to be released leading up to and then following Cookie's passing. Then I ran out of completed videos. However, I still have a few shopping videos that needed editing. This is one of them. I had been working on-and-off on editing this particular Whitfill video before everything came to a halt to care for Cookie in her final weeks. This week, I decided to finish this video and release it for us to have a glimpse of our old normal. But the old normal ends as soon as the nursery tour ends. Including Cookie's short recording at the end was much harder than I thought it would be. I'm not sure what the best way is to handle these videos. Leaving her out doesn't feel right, but seeing her footage is also difficult and feels strange because it's a memory and does not represent the present. Please bear with me as we try to find a new rhythm that feels right.
