Seventh Heaven is a Riblet double chair, the oldest operating lift at Stevens Pass, installed in 1960. At 61 years old as of this season (2021-22), it is one of the oldest chairlifts operating in the US/Canada. The bottom terminal was moved downhill in the late 90's to provide access to the expert terrain on Cowboy Mountain, without needing to ride a rope tow in addition to itself. In a LiftBlog article linked below, Seventh Heaven is the 10th oldest lift, but because three lifts on the list have since been replaced, and one had the incorrect install year listed (the correction appears on the article) Seventh Heaven is currently #6. The J-Bar at Black Mountain, NH, though, would put Seventh Heaven as #7, which is perfect. https://liftblog.com/2015/09/30/oldes... Bobby Chute is a Double Black Diamond that, along with Nancy Chute and Solitude, requires a short hike to reach. In the current early season conditions, rocks and many tree saplings show, and because this was filmed later in the day, the snow was skied out, and little powder still remained.
