Today is Holi in India; and we brothers thought of celebrating it with different colors - that's by watching colorful birds! I also wanted to try out my recently purchased Benro C3780 Tripod and Manfrotto MAH500AH Fluid head. Hence, left early in the morning and went straight to Tamhini to meet Ramdas Yenpure. Last year, we had visited his place t o checkout the progress he made on his bird hide; but we could not meet him. In this last year; Ramdas had taken tremendous efforts and improved the bird hide. There are multiple posts on social media about his hide and hence thought of giving him a surprise visit and also check how it has really come up. There are now 2 hides - one with capacity of total 6 people (4 photographers + 2 observers) & other with capacity of 3 people (2 photographers + 1 observer). Hide itself seems to be very well built now compared to earlier setup. In this video you will see the new hide and please watch the video till end to some beautiful footage of birds that we recorded today from the hide. This will give you an idea about the place and setup very well. Hide can be booked for a whole day between 8:00AM to 6:30PM Plan Includes; Comfortable hide , drinking water inside, clean washrooms (common and western style), shed cover, privacy, meals, safe parking space near hide, mosquito repellents etc. Its located in Adarwadi - which is about 65KM from Pune.
