This is a video of a single left hand circuit for runway 25 at Fricktal-Schupfart aerodrome (LSZI) in Switzerland. The circuit involves a left turn shortly after take off (at the point the plane crosses the road at the end of the runway) to avoid power lines followed by a return to the runway heading at 2000 feet ASL so as to align the plane to climb between two villages to minimise the noise disturbance. Otherwise the circuit is fairly standard. The downwind leg is flown along a ridge and its path is somewhat critical as the house owner on the top of the ridge is sensitive to noise. Final is flown over the village of Schupfart straight in to the runway. At this point in flight noise is less of a concern as the engine is at low power during descent.
