Acrylic Pour Fluid Art Video of a Feather Using the Paint Kiss Technique and a Stylus

In this acrylic pour fluid art video I used the paint kiss technique to create a feather. I wanted to get dainty edges so I went in with a stylus to finish off. The base used was Amsterdam titanium white. For the feather, I used Amsterdam red violet mixed with a touch of pearl ex blue russet pigment, liquitex basics gold and a touch of pearl ex solar gold and the last colour was the beautiful metallic, emerald green from art alchemy. Inspiration for this feather came from Olga Soby from Smart Art Materials, her feathers are just to die for. I added the pearl ex pigments to give the colours more oomph and my goodness did it deliver. I am in love with this feather, I really hope this dries well. My absolute favourite to date. Let me know what you think Thanks for watching Instagram:   / therapeuticcreations   My pouring medium is 50% clear craft glue, 25% floetrol and 25% water. Generally the paints are 2:1 (pouring medium to paint) and if needed I will thin further with a little water just to get the right consistency. But again some paints require less pouring medium than others. This ratio also varies depending on the paint brand and even the colour but this is the most uniform figures I have. I hope it helps.
