In one of the biggest natural disasters in Maharashtra, at least 21 people were killed and over 100 were feared trapped after a landslide hit Raigad district on July 20. The NDRF and SDRF teams, as well as hundreds of NGOs, are on the ground. A search and rescue operation is underway. Local villagers and relatives of the people trapped under the debris are assisting the rescue teams.
