When can you see puffins in Ireland? The best times are May-July and one place you can meet puffins is Great Saltee Island, just off the coast of Wexford. So in this vlog, I hopped on the Saltee Ferry and headed over to the Saltees to see the puffins, and I was BLOWN AWAY! I started the day at Hook Lighthouse and made my way to Kilmore Quay for the crossing and had the BEST DAY. The weather was insane, and I felt like I was on some Tropical Island! Sadly the puffin numbers in Ireland are on the decline , so it's amazing to be able to see them!
