From their comic book origins to their animated reinvention, these characters strip away the restraint that defines Batman and expose what happens when his methods are inverted rather than challenged. Along the way, I explore how Wrath fits into a wider lineage of “anti-Batmen,” including Prometheus, a villain who takes the same foundational trauma and escalates it into full ideological warfare. By comparing Wrath, Scorn, and Prometheus, the video traces the natural lifespan of this character archetype, from personal vengeance, to philosophical opposition, to total collapse.
