Kato Kobo MP36 Metra 'State of Illinois" unit with an ESU LokSound V5 micro installed. While I have done full lighting packages in these units utilizing a V5 nano which has a few more powered outputs, the owner wanted to keep the costs down, so wiring every lightpipe up with 0402 LED's was out. So, this turned into a basic installation with a V5 micro with standard forward, reverse and red marker lights. I had one more function output, and since Metra units have marker lights, I took a a few extra minutes to install one of those as it was minimal work and I think added a bit to the model. I won't ramble on for too long as this was a quick down and dirty install and the video is no exception.
