Do you know what everything in the TAF actually means? In this video, I read a selection of TAFs aloud with the TAF displayed so you can learn the coding and important weather forecast information, especially for pilots and aircraft dispatchers. In my experience, aircraft dispatch examiners and pilot examiners WILL ask you to read a TAF for oral and practical exams. Aircraft dispatchers also MUST be able to read aloud the TAF for crew briefings and for practical tests. It's great to be able to decode everything in the TAF, and they give helpful data for pilots and dispatchers.
