In this video we show you how to make and install your own DIY basement ceiling that is 100% accessible. It is accessible like a dropped ceiling but it is not dropped. It is recessed into the I joists so it has a nice finished look and you will not lose any height with the ceiling like you would if you installed a dropped ceiling. This project was less than $100 and was extremely easy to install! We ended up painting this basement ceiling black and love it!!!
