Cutting Chromexcel with HFS Guillotine Cutter

This is an example of me cutting 2mm Chromexcel with my HFS 17 inch guillotine cutter. I whipped this video out super fast so it's hard to see the actual edge, but it's pretty good. This was a fairly wrinkled scrap of CXL (I think!) I was given, 2.1mm thick, so the cut was not perfectly straight. I expect it'd work better on flatter leather. One thing I should have done: The retainer bar did not screw down all the way, presumably because the leather was only 2.1mm thick. If I had put something else under the leather, like some thick cardstock, I think the retaining bar would have held it better and made a straighter cut. cutter: https://amzn.to/2Sg7I8J
