This video is a review of the Qantas Economy flight QF 93 from Melbourne to LAX and American Airlines Economy flight AA 4909 from LAX to Tucson Arizona. It was a direct flight to LAX flying on an Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. . Its was a long haul flight or around 14 hours and 20 minutes, covering a distance of 12,747 km or 7,937 miles. There are 14 of the Dreamliners in the Qantas fleet with an average age. of 5.9 years. The flight from LAX to Tucson was on an American Airlines flight AA 4909. It is a short haul domestic flight on a Canadair Regional Jet 700 - Bombardier CRJ700 with 76 Seats. Basic drinks and snacks were served. It is a distance of 724 Kilometers (450 miles) and approximately a 1 hr 31 min flight. Scheduled Departure 12:00 Arrival 17:50 the next day. It was an affordable flight. Total cost of four separate Economy flights per person was AUD $1,598 for the following legs: 1. MEL - LAX 2. LAX - TUS 3. LAS - LAX 4. LAX - MEL I also review the House Aspire Lounge at Melbourne International Airport. Unfortunately we had an 8 hour layover in LAX due to flight changes. The first Qantas fligh twas ok. Seats were somewhat uncomfortable but reasonably spacious, the cabin crew provided good service. We were able to select our meal preferences before hand and the food was reasonably good. There was an good responsive. entertainment system on board with good viewing options and the flight was well priced. We spent a few hours in Terminal 4 then found Terminal 0 at LAX eventually. The short Haul American Airlines flight was thankfully short. The seats were somewhat cramped, there was no entertainment system on board and the food and drinks were basic and not gluten free.
