The 23-year-old was killed in a restaurant in Quevedo city, where she was attending a wedding. The Ecuadorian beauty queen’s Instagram post gave away her location as moments before her death she had posted about "octopus ceviche" that she had ordered for lunch. The  killers shot her and a man she was talking to. The killing was recorded on a CCTV camera. Reports suggest that the Ecuadorian model was shot thrice. Earlier, her name was reportedly linked to a corruption probe involving organised crime.
