Railways of Great Britain Tanat Valley Light Railway and Museum July 2022

Tanat Valley L.R can be found just south of Oswestry...Check out the website for more information. The small group of members are working so hard to open up the 1 1/2 miles of track so they can give rides to the public. They have also many items to see. Plus they also have two sets of working Pacers ready and waiting to give you all rides. A large collection of rail trolleys can be seen. * The star of the show must be the Richard Morris collection of Narrow gauge items,plus the largest collection of Monorail items you have ever seen.* Really this amazing collection is just crying out for a permanent storage shed. The Monorail collection is also home to the only steam locomotive in the world. The loco is at the moment under repair but can be viewed,sadly we never got to see her. Rosie and I were so lucky to get a ride on the Monorail, this made our day. The guys are working so hard to get this centre fully working.
